Da Vinci Code

blog.myspace.com/fantabuluskarina: "Mkay I have a few words to say about this movie...I am so freakin tired of people (yes, you dad) saying that they think this movie is sac-religious. If you live under an enormous rock and dont know..it is a movie very similar to National Treasure, in which the main character looks for clues all around the city hidden in important documents and art pieces, in order to solve whatever. So yeah and in the movie they discover clues that could lead someone to believe that Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus and they produced offspring. Might I remind you this IS A MOVIE. NOT MEANT FOR FACTUAL PURPOSES."

Eric Ong's DayBook & Others...: My Review For The Da Vinci Code's Movie

Eric Ong's DayBook & Others...: My Review For The Da Vinci Code's Movie: "The structure of the movie, is exactly the same as the book. There is no change to the ending, despite some rumours that it will be different. Naturally, some of the detailed explanation that's given in the book, especially many three-way dialogue between Sophie- Robert-Leigh, have to be summarized in order to pace this movie into 2 1/2 hours. Herein lies the challenges. For those who've read the book, the movie offers nothing new, other than the gratification of watching events and characters play out on the big screen. For those who haven't read the book, the movie version should be decent enough to make you want to pick up the novel and read more into the controversial theories explained."

Movie Review: The Da Vinci Code at Trade Relic

Movie Review: The Da Vinci Code at Trade Relic: "I saw the much debated Da Vinci Code movie to see if it indeed lived up to the book’s status. I thought it was great hearing Dan Brown, the author, comment about the movie following the book almost word for word. Any movie that can follow the motive of the author should be delightful. Like I said, should be.

I read the Da Vinci Code about two years ago after hearing the hype on how this book defies Christianity’s history. Controversial ideals and mysteries | dramas are something I enjoy reading. Anything that shakes up the Church is worth reading about too. Whether people like it or not, the Church is not as faithful as it appears to be. History will tell you that, it’s a fact so deal with it."

Review: The Da Vinci Code Movie

blog.myspace.com/grailseekers: "I saw the Da Vinci Code last night, and I cannot say that I was disappointed. This is one of the few movies that I have ever seen that did not stray from the original text. (Unlike the movie version of Starship Troopers, from which Robert Heinlein is still spinning in his grave.) After a little while, I even bought into Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon. The majority of reviews I've read stick pretty much to these points and leave the rest alone."

Review: The Da Vinci Code Movie

The Da Vinci Code Movie: "I think I have to preface my discussion on the Da Vinci Code with an explanation of my feelings on Christianity. You can find some of my past thoughts on it here and here.

I have a love hate relationship with Jesus having been on both ends of his legacy. On the negative, I have been terrorized and disowned by my family, even beaten in his name. From an early age of 3 I was told by aunts, uncles and cousins that I was going to hell. Told that the legacy of Jesus, is the lesson that everyone must be armed to protect themselves."

The DaVinci Code" review

blog.myspace.com/31085326: "'What really matters is what you believe.' ~The Davinci Code (2006)

Last night I went to the theatre and saw 'The Davinci Code'. It was a very interesting movie. Quite different then what I expected. It was actually a bit action packed with on the edge of your seat moments. I was very pleased. It was a bit long and dragged out occasionally but I enjoyed it for the most part."

Movie Review .1 - Da vinci Code

blog.myspace.com/furryeasymac: "So I just saw The Da Vinci Code, with Tom Hanks, Audrey 'hot babe' Tatou and Sir Ian 'does more dudes than Audrey Tatou' McKellan."

Da Vinci Code Review; Do NOT read this if you don't want parts of the movie revealed!

blog.myspace.com/54603545: "What I am confused by is the complete uproar over a piece of fiction (no where do they say the movie is a documentary) so much so that people have picketed the movie and churches are imploring people not to go. As I was changing channels the other day I heard two preachers discussing this, to which one said 'If you think one movie cant completely destroy your faith, you need to rethink this'...to which I loudly shouted back at the Television 'If one movie can shake your faith, you need to rethink your faith!' (OK, so maybe neither one of us was too smart in that instance)"

Our time has come - so we want to be: The Da Vinci Code

our time has come - so we want to be: The Da Vinci Code: "no interaction, no fireworks, simply no chemistry between the two main characters tom hanks n audrey tautou. her english with strong french accent is hard for me to listen. but after watching it, i want to read this fiction by curious to prove my belief - the movie was not-as-good-as-the-book issue."

How can a film contain so many clues yet remain utterly clueless?

Outdoor Fun Screenplay: "MetroMix - How can a film contain so many clues yet remain utterly clueless? The screen adaptation of “The Da Vinci Code” treats the Dan Brown novel with a reverence it does not deserve and from which it does not benefit."

Only to find a box set of Michael Bolton's greatest hits

blog.myspace.com/twinx1987: "remember that childhood christmas? wherein all year round your parents kept promising you: 'Oh! i'll get you that for christmas!' or 'Be good and come christmas time you just might get it!' and then you tried so hard to be good all year round and then come christmas day, you run downstairs and shake your present vigorously to try and guess what's inside...and then when you can't hold the excitement any longer you rip the package open--only to find a box set of Michael Bolton's greatest hits!

yep. that's what i think of the da vinci code movie!"

Why screw up the last 20 minutes

blog.myspace.com/trolinder: "The Da Vinci Code...why screw up the last 20 minutes and why not keep the first cryptex scenerio in the movie. The movie tried to cover too much ground in 2 hours and 15 minutes. It seemed like everyone involved had no ambition to make te movie good as well. Even Ron Howard considered it a rush job."
